Bay Area · websites for local business

A website your customers can actually find, read, and call from.

I build small, fast, good-looking websites for restaurants, salons and service businesses around the Bay Area. One flat price, no monthly lock-in, live in about a week.

  • $300 – $700One flat price, quoted up front
  • About a weekFrom first call to live site
  • $0 a monthTo keep it online, forever
Fixed price, quoted before I start The domain stays in your name Two rounds of changes included No builder subscription, ever

What you get

The boring parts, done properly.

Most small-business websites fail on the same four things. Those are the four I start with.

01

Fast on a phone

Nearly everyone finds you on a phone, often on bad signal outside your door. The site loads in under two seconds on 4G, or I keep working on it.

02

Findable on Google

Real page titles, your address and hours marked up so Google reads them, and your Google Business Profile pointed at the new site.

03

One tap to reach you

Call, directions, hours and the menu are never more than one tap away — not buried three scrolls down a page nobody reads.

04

Yours to keep

The domain stays in your name and the site is plain files — no builder subscription holding it hostage. If we part ways, it keeps running.

Pricing

Three prices. You pick one.

Quoted up front, paid half to start and half when it goes live. No hourly billing and no surprise invoice at the end.

Afterwards

Care plan — $39 a month. Genuinely optional.

Once your site is delivered it keeps working on its own. Nothing switches off, nothing expires, and you owe me nothing. The care plan is for owners who would rather text me than log in.

  • Content changes whenever you want them
  • Menu and price updates
  • Holiday hours, closures, new photos
  • I watch that the site stays up

Not on the plan? That's fine. When you do need a change, it's $39 for that one change — same price, pay only when you use it.

How it works

Four steps, about a week.

  1. 01

    We talk for twenty minutes

In person at your shop, or on the phone. I want to hear what customers ask you most, because that becomes the top of the page.

  2. 02

You hand over what you have

Menu, photos, hours, logo — whatever exists. Phone photos are fine, I clean them up. If something is missing I'll tell you what to shoot.

  3. 03

You see it before anyone else

I send a private link. You tell me what's wrong. Two rounds of changes are included, and in practice we rarely need the second.

  4. 04

It goes live in your name

Domain registered to you, hosting set up, Google pointed at it. I show you what I did, so nothing about it is a mystery.

Who this is for

Small places with real customers.

If you run the business yourself and you've been putting the website off for two years, this is built for you.

  • Restaurants & cafés
  • Nail & hair salons
  • Massage & wellness
  • Barbers
  • Bakeries
  • Tutors & studios
  • Repair & trades
  • Cleaning services

Not a fit for online stores with hundreds of products, or anything that needs user accounts and logins. I'll say so early rather than take the money.

Rather just talk it through?

Call or text and describe the place. Twenty minutes is usually enough for me to tell you which price you need — and whether you need me at all.

FAQ

The questions I actually get asked.

Who pays for the domain and hosting?

Hosting is free — your site is plain files served from a global network, and at your traffic it costs nothing. The domain is about $12–15 a year, paid by you directly to the registrar so it stays in your name. I'll set it up with you rather than for you, so you always hold the keys.

I don't have a logo or decent photos.

Most people don't. Photos from your phone are usually fine once they're cropped and colour-corrected, which is included. If you have no logo I'll set your name in good type, which honestly looks better than a cheap logo.

What happens if I stop paying the $39?

Nothing happens. Your site stays up and stays yours. The care plan buys my time, not permission to use your own website. Cancel any month and come back whenever.

Can I edit the site myself?

Yes, and I'll show you how for the things that change often — hours, prices, a photo. Anything more structural is quicker to text me about than to learn.

How do I pay, and when?

Half when we start, half on the day it goes live. Zelle, Venmo or a bank transfer. If you don't like what you see at the preview stage, you owe me the first half and nothing more.

Do you speak Chinese?

Yes — happy to run the whole project in Chinese, and to write your site in both languages if your customers are split.

Who am I actually hiring?

One person, not an agency. I also run Maxtech PC Build & Repair in Fremont, which is where most of my local customers know me from. You deal with me from the first call to the day it goes live.

Tell me about your business.

No pitch deck, no meeting request. Say what you do and roughly what you want, and I'll come back with a price and a date.
